AARONITA M. BROWN SCHOLARSHIP FOR COLLEGE-BOUND SENIORS

In 1991, the Aaronita M. Brown scholarship was established to honor her eleven year presidency from 1990 - 2001. This scholarship benefits deserving students regardless of their economical, physical, educational or handicapped abilities. Over the years, more than 375 students have benefited from the scholarships totaling over the amount of $175,000.00.

Scholarship recipients are high school students who have been accepted into a minimum of one accredited postsecondary education institution by May of each year. Additionally, scholarship recipients are required to participate in a minimum of one FCBSSU event/program.
