HISTORY OF TALENT NIGHT
First called the Saturday Night Sing, the inaugural talent show was held on April 20, 1991, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Alexandria, Virginia, with a record attendance of 328 people under the direction of Aaronita M. Brown. The goal of the Saturday Night Talent is to raise money for the Aaronita M. Brown Scholarship by showcasing the talents of the member churches of the Sunday School Union.
